EmailWe had a "COOL" time at the April 29, 30 event at Homestead Motor Speedway!
The weather was beautiful, the overall turnout was great, and the event went very smoothly. After a couple hot weeks here in South Florida, it seemed as if we were going to be in the heat until next fall. However, last weekend was clear and cool.
A great group of people showed up for the event. We had a tight schedule to run, and for the most part we were able to keep to it. Their were just a few off track expeditions and a bump or two in the race, but , everyone kept the shiny side up.
The Time Trial Competitors had their first Shootouts. Several of the competitors made their fastest times of the day during the ten minute Shootouts. I believe the vote is to keep them when the schedule permits.
