As you may know, NASA's Mid-Atlantic region put on a big TT for _Grassroots Motorsports_ magazine on Friday July 27th at VIR's north course.  It was called the Ultimate Track Car Challenge and it was a lot of fun!  Details are here:

http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/news/012007/grm-ultimate-track-car-challenge.php

Final results are here:

http://www.nasaracing.net/VIR_July_07/grm_utcc_07_results/Final%20UTTC%20Grid.html

And best of all, their feature article about this event is the cover story for the November 2007 issue, which shipped from the printer on Sept 19th:

GRM Nov 07 issue w/UTCC coverage

Be sure to look for it in your mailbox if you are a NASA member, or look for it at your nearest news-stand if you aren't!

We are pleased to announce the start of the '07 TT season for the Mid-Atlantic region this coming weekend 3/30-4/1 at VIR's delicious 3.3 mile full course!  So far this looks to be the largest TT group we have ever had, with a wide variety of cars entered and nearly every TT class represented.  Please check back next week for details, results, and hopefully pics too!

The Mid-Atlantic TT events to qualify a driver for Nationals will definitely be:

VIR Full March 31-April 1

CMP May 5-6

VIR North July 28-29

Summit Point August 25-26

And may also be:

Summit Point June 23-24 (Hyperfest '07, if we can fit it into that weekend's already insanely packed schedule.)

Keep in mind, each of these events is two separate TT days and you must participate during 5 (of the 8 confirmed so far) days to qualify for Nationals at Mid-Ohio in September.  And the 5 days may also be done in other regions of course.

After Nationals, we will also have another regional-points TT weekend:

Summit Point October 13-14

Please keep an eye on http://www.nasaracing.net and http://nasa-tt.com/Mid_Atlantic for updates!
